Handcrafted pyrography wood bowls, plaques, magnets, mini bowls, ornaments and more -
make unique qifts.

Pyrography - the art of decorating wood with heated tools.
Also known as wood burning.

At Nicholson Ridge I take wooden bowls of various sizes and styles, plaques, magnets, ornaments and more - wood burn and stain them with watercolor paint. Each item is unique, no two are exactly alike. Earl Rice or Harold Crook hand turns wooded bowls that are made from a single piece of wood. Then I design them into individual works of art. I burn the designs into the wood and then stain with watercolors. They are then sealed with three (3) coats of water based polyurethane. Each bowl takes 3 to 20 hours to complete. I also wood burn plaques, ornanaments, and magnets. I have been doing pyrography since June 2000. I am a self taught artist.

Shown are designs that I have done in the past. I may not have this exact item. If you will email me your request I will check my stock and if I do not have this item, I can put it on a bowl, or plaque for you.

100% satisfaction guaranteed.* (Shipping charges are not refundable.)

Note: These wood bowls are not perfect. They may have knot holes that have been filled, or streaks in the wood grain. They may not be level or perfectly round.
